How does it work?
Quinclorac 1.5L Select is a powerful herbicide that belongs to the quinoline carboxylic acid class and functions as an auxin agonist. This herbicide is easily absorbed by foliage and roots, which allows it to be effectively translocated throughout the plant.
When applied to broadleaf weeds, Quinclorac 1.5L Select causes curling or twisting of the leaves and stem, as well as chlorosis. Susceptible grasses will exhibit stunting, chlorosis, and a gradual reddening followed by necrosis and death.
To apply Quinclorac 1.5L Select, simply use post-emergent broadcast or spot sprays on actively growing weeds. Be sure to follow the turf species, rate, and growth stages indicated on the label for best results.
But don't worry about interfering with your turfgrass seed germination and growth - Quinclorac 1.5L Select is safe to use before or after seeding or overseeding as long as the grass types are identified as tolerant or moderately tolerant on the label.
